The EMC was happy to collaborate with the Asia Days in March 2020 to host a number of events with the focus on Asia. Our speaker Shan Jiang, Founder and CEO of the Startup SUSFINTEQ, did not only lead a workshop on working in Asia and overcoming cultural differences, but also participated in a “Tea Chat” on sustainability in Chinese vs. DACH companies.
Before the tea chat, we had collected ideas and inputs from students, which served as a basis for discussions and and exchange of ideas. Having worked, studied and lived in both Europe and Asia, Shan Jiang offered great insights and could speak from personal experience on these topics. Listening to him was fascinating, and we are very thankful he joined us for these events.[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”16″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]
In the late afternoon, we closed the day with a “Start-Up Roundtable”, where several speakers with different backgrounds to talk about business between Europe and Asia. Carlo Pozzi, Christian Andrés Mu𝐧̃oz Orozco, Nicolas de Toledo and Quentin Gigon talked about their personal journeys and led the interactive event. Thank you to all the participants and our speakers that made this day full of events a success![ngg src=”galleries” ids=”17″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]
