After the success of the first WG Keynote in St. Gallen, we had the pleasure to host Lukas Steiner in our second WG Keynote on November 26, 2019. Lukas is a fellow HSG student who experienced an incredible journey during his gap year: he travelled from Zurich to Cape Town by bike. It took 333 days for 18’000 km across over 20 countries. During a very exciting discussion, he told us about the perks and challenges of his journey. It was very enchanting to hear from Lukas how much this experience has impacted him. His story gave us a unique insight on the cultural diversity of the African continent and different projects.
Our guests had also the possibility to participate in a blind taste test of different beers to get the “taste of Africa”! Some lucky winners were also able to take home some more of their favorite beer.
We would like to thank the students who participated to the event and Lukas for sharing with us his incredible experience.
